Leadership Team
Alex Letsos, B.E.Sc., P. Eng. – Founder and CEO
Alex is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario with a wealth of industry and leadership experience, managing various significant projects in the commercial, industrial, and residential business sectors.
After beginning a career in finance, Alex – with an interest in innovation and technology, decided to shift his focus to engineering. He graduated from Western University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural). With expertise in both the financial and engineering worlds, Alex can confidently adapt ideas to suit the needs of stakeholders.
Alex created Artas Engineering & Design Inc. with the values of integrity, commitment to a strong team culture, client satisfaction and quality at the forefront; strong foundations on which to build in the years ahead.
Away from the office Alex is a DIY’er and enjoys sports and family time.
Brent Powers, A.Sc.T., PMP- Managing Partner, Director of Project Management
Brent’s career began in British Columbia in 1995, and he now lives and works in Stratford, Ontario, where he has over 23 years of expertise in the consulting engineering industry. He also holds an Architectural Technology Diploma from London, Ontario’s Fanshawe College.
As a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Brent has overseen numerous important and sizable projects throughout the course of his career in a variety of business sectors including commercial, industrial, government and agricultural. His commitment to supporting his team and every client allows him to carry out tasks with logical and sound methods, producing successful projects.
Reflecting the core values of Artas – honesty, transparency, and trust are the main qualities that Brent aspires to every day. The addition of his leadership style and expertise was an important milestone in our continued growth and success.
Outside the office Brent enjoys backcountry camping, Crossfit, mountain biking, concerts, all sports and spending time with his family.
